2017 is been a year of leaks. No matter how hard the companies try to stop, they just keep on coming. The funniest thing is that a guy did an unboxing video of OnePlus 5T before its official release. So is the situation for Samsung.
Samsung is planning to unveil their next smartphone in early 2018. With the success of Galaxy S8 and Note8, Samsung is pretty confident with their S9.
We’ve done some digging, and this isn’t all we know about the Galaxy S9, so we’ve rounded up everything we know about the handset so far.
5.8in / 6.2in QHD+ Super AMOLED curved display (570ppi / 529ppi)
Android 8.0 ‘O’
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (US) / Samsung Exynos (UK)
Cat 18 LTE support (1.2Gbps download speeds)
Display embedded fingerprint scanner
Dual rear-facing camera
Bixby AI assistant with dedicated button
*leaks strongly suggest the presence of headphone jack*
2.FingerPrint scanner placement
The only flaw with Galaxy S8 is fingerprint scanner placement. This is the only thing that everyone is complaining about, uncomfortable with.
Rumours suggest that we might see a rear fingerprint scanner in Galaxy S9.
3.Release Date and Price
Samsung is planning to release S9 in early 2018.
Price: No any official announcements, but it could be around £689 and £779, which is around 920 US Dollars.
4.Galaxy S9+ and S9 mini
Samsung might be releasing a new Galaxy S9 mini. With a 5.3(5.0) inch display, it will be the smallest one.
- display: 5.8 inch
- RAM: 4GB
- display: 6.2 inch
- RAM: 6GB
- Dual camera
Galaxy S9 will be officially launching in CES 2018. Let’s keep the fingers crossed.
